“Fitness Week Celebration at G.P.C.S., Hailakandi”
November 18-22, 2019

For any society or nation to progress it’s important that these citizens are physically fit. Challenges of the modern day life has brought along with it the need to be more physically proactive and fit in order to face its challenges with optimum energy and positivity. Fit children are to handle day to day physical and emotional challenges better.

On August 29, 2019, the honorable Prime Minister launched nation-wide “Fit India Movement” to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sports in their everyday lives and daily routine. So to take this mission forward GPCS has conducted various fitness activities throughout the week, starting from November 18 to November 22. This movement helped students to understand the importance of physical activity and enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

Activities Conducted are as follows:

  • Yoga
  • Free Hand Exercise
  • Poster Making-‘Fit Body-Fit mind-Fit environment.’
  • Rope Skipping
  • Gardening
  • Quiz-Sports and Fitness.
